Truth IS Power! Improvisation Workshop at 8EAST with Douglas R. Ewart

The NOW Society proudly presents guest artist Douglas R. Ewart, multi-instrumentalist, instrument builder, composer and artist in a project that presents public talks, film screenings, a workshop, a new work with the NOW Orchestra, commissioned by the NOW Society, and a performance in the Vancouver International Jazz Festival.
This workshop is free with NOW Membership. These are our first in person workshops since the Fall of 2019! We have 10 spots available for each workshop.
Covid Safety Precautions: At 8EAST we ask that you wear a mask inside the space and in-between playing your instrument. We have 3 HEPA Filters running, open windows and doors, and UV Lights installed in our air returns. If you need any accommodation please send us a message at [email protected]
